Romanian Accounting Standards and Tax legislation
Previous experience in a multinational environment
English language proficiency (intermediate)
Previous experience in a Chief Accountant or Accountant position is preferred

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting legislation and Group accounting policies;
Prepare and report the Company's financial results to the financial director;
Lead and coordinate the Accounting Department;
MAIN DUTIES (and related tasks):
Prepare and ensure the timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements;
Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses of key financial and operational indicators;
Prepare and review the monthly trial balance in accordance with Romanian legislation and the Group reporting calendar;
Ensure the timely completion of the monthly closing process, including account reconciliations;
Analyze accounting records and trial balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in accordance with Romanian tax legislation;
Ensure the proper maintenance and register of all mandatory accounting records and entries;
Lead, supervise and develop the Accounting Department;
Liaise with external auditors and support the statutory audit process, when required;
Represent the Company during inspections or audits by tax authorities and other public authorities, when required;
Coordinate the financial-accounting year-end closing process, including inventory operation and asset verification procedures;
Monitor changes in Romanian accounting and tax legislation and ensure compliance;
Support internal and external reporting requirements requested by the Group;
Ensure compliance with internal controls and group financial procedures;
Collaborate closely with Financial Director, Controlling, HR and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting;
