Ideal Candidate

Hands-on experience with Workday integrations, ideally gained through at least one end-to-end project;
A solid understanding of Workday integration methodology and the specific logic behind Workday data and fields;
Experience building, maintaining or supporting complex integrations;
A technical background that allows you to work with coding-related integration topics, including complex scenarios that may require Workday Studio;
The ability to understand functional needs and translate them into reliable technical solutions;
Autonomy, proactivity and the willingness to propose improvements or new technical solutions;
A structured and rigorous working style, with attention to documentation, testing and long-term maintainability;
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a **Workday Integration Developer** who will contribute to the evolution of a mature Workday ecosystem used across multiple countries.
The role sits within the HRIS technical team, which works closely with the central HRIS functional team and supports the Workday platform across the Group.
The team manages more than 50 Workday integrations, covering payroll, absence, recruitment, finance, travel, user provisioning, compliance, Jira and other Group or local systems.
The current setup is stable, but the roadmap is expanding, with new integration projects, modernization initiatives and opportunities to explore new Workday capabilities, including Workday Extend, automation and AI-related features.
As a Workday Integration Developer, you will contribute to both the run and project sides of the Workday technical landscape. The role combines integration development, technical administration, support, security, documentation and continuous improvement.
**Develop new Workday integrations** and technical flows based on business and HR requirements (60% of the time);
Maintain and **improve existing integrations** across payroll, absence, recruitment and other HR-related systems;
Monitor integrations, **investigate incidents, debug issues** and provide technical support to internal stakeholders;
Perform **configuration changes and technical evolutions** on existing Workday integration components;
Contribute to end-to-end **integration projects**, from analysis and design to testing, documentation and go-live support;
Manage **connectivity and security** topics related to Workday and connected systems;
**Review Workday releases**, assess technical impacts, coordinate testing and implement required adjustments;
Identify opportunities to **modernize existing integrations** and improve architecture, performance and maintainability;
Contribute to initiatives involving new Workday capabilities, including **Workday Extend, automation and AI-related features;**
Maintain **clear technical documentation** to support knowledge transfer, continuity and long-term maintainability;
**Collaborate with HRIS functional teams**, local HR teams, local IT teams and external providers across different countries.

The work is organized in a **flexible hybrid model, with 5 days per month in the office in Bucharest;**
