Ideal Candidate
- Solid understanding of quality control principles and the responsibilities associated with relevant roles;
- Ability to plan, perform and report issuing inspections and tests testing reports, in accordance with the Quality Control / Inspection Plan(s), as well as to update the related databases with accurate and complete information;
- Possessing an International certificate (American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or IWI (EWI) approved equivalent) to perform visual inspections and tests on welded steel pieces to be used in the construction of project structures - will be considered an advantage;
- Availability to travel abroad.
Job Description
Purpose of the position: Execute the workshop / field welding inspection, surveillance and Quality Control activities on in the workshop / site, collecting the relevant records and ensure that all welding operations are executed in accordance with all relevant Codes and Standards and Subsidiaries procedures Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
How can you support us?
- In accordance with the Quality Control / Inspection Plans, execute the specific measurements for welding procedures qualifications, inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site issuing the relevant Quality Records;
- Verify welding parameters and consumables during welding operations;
- Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams;
- Perform pipes linepipes & pipes fit-up checks up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are compliant to the correct specification and that the materials is are in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements.
What are we looking for?
Education: University degree (Master’s/Bachelor’s)
Background: Experience in Quality Control will be considered an advantage
Languages: conversation English level (medium level knowledge mandatory, advanced level will be considered an advantage);
