Candidatul Ideal
Job Purpose:
The Welding Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and compliance of welding processes within our production facility. This position involves developing and qualifying welding procedures, supervising welding personnel, and optimizing manufacturing workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement industry standards to maintain high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
Approval of welding procedures (PQR)
Qualification of welders according to applicable standards
Preparation of technical documentation (WPS, PQR, Work Instructions, Welding Procedures)
Application of execution codes in the production process (ISCIR, ASME, EN) and handling a wide range of materials (carbon steel, low- and high-alloyed steel, stainless steel)
Working with various welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, G-FCAW, SAW)
Planning the manufacturing stages for each project
Evaluating the performance of subordinate personnel
Monitoring and managing welding system maintenance activities, including spare parts requirements
Overseeing production and providing solutions to arising issues
Achieving an optimal production-quality balance

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Welding Equipment and Technology + IWE certification)
Knowledge of welding technical standards in accordance with Romanian and European legislation (EN 5817, EN 15614)
Experience in developing welding technologies and technical instructions
Strong teamwork skills
Solid knowledge of technical drawing
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Catia V5, or TEKLA) and Microsoft Office package
English language proficiency is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field
Strong presentation, training, and problem-solving skills
Planning and organizational abilities
