General Summary

Level of Responsibility
You will play a key role in the company’s annual performance review process, various compensation programs, and the design and administration of health, welfare, retirement, and time-off benefits. This role requires technical proficiency in relevant laws and regulations. You will collaborate with HR partners and functional leaders across the organization to ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive, compliant, fiscally responsible, and aligned with company goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Compensation, Employer Benefits, Benefits Consulting, or related work
- 2+ years of experience using compensation-related tools/systems (e.g., Advanced Excel, Workday, industry surveys)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and best practices to support programs including base pay, annual incentives, health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Conduct internal audits (job title mismatches, resource code audits, ad-hoc compensation and benefits audits, job code audits, etc.)
- Support external vendor-related activities (implementation, audits, renewals, market searches, contract negotiations, non-disclosure agreements, and quarterly reviews)
- Assist in the company’s annual review process (developing/testing program guidelines, reviewing recommendations, analyzing and developing pay recommendations)
- Participate in end-to-end compensation benchmarking processes (survey submissions and analysis, functional reviews, job code mapping, salary adjustments, and market pricing)
- Conduct ad-hoc compensation and benefits analyses and FLSA studies to ensure internal and external pay equity
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, and Procurement to ensure programs are market competitive, aligned with corporate goals, and compliant with legislation

- Works under supervision; decisions may impact work beyond the immediate team
- Requires verbal and written communication skills; may involve negotiation, influencing, and tact
- Operates within the department’s budgetary objectives
- Tasks require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete multi-step processes effectively
