We are hiring a Teamcenter Operations & Support Engineer to operate and support our clients’ Teamcenter environments, including Active Workspace. You will ensure stable, secure, and efficient system operations through structured support, proactive maintenance, monitoring, and documentation.
Please apply only if you have solid experience with Teamcenter. Applications without relevant Teamcenter experience will not be considered.
This is a fully remote position, and candidates must be based in Romania.
Required Skills & Experience
Teamcenter / PLM
Good understanding of PLM concepts and workflows
Experience with Teamcenter modules (e.g., Structure Manager, Workflow, Change Management)
Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace
Understanding of Teamcenter landscapes/environments
Operations / Infrastructure
Experience installing/configuring:
Databases (Oracle or MS SQL Server)
Web servers (Tomcat, WildFly, IIS)
Teamcenter servers and clients
Patch and upgrade processes, environment maintenance
Windows/Linux server administration basics
Networking fundamentals (ports, firewalls, load balancing)
Virtualization/containers (VMware, Docker)
Scripting/automation basics
Support & Troubleshooting
Strong analytical troubleshooting approach and root-cause analysis
Log file reading and interpretation
Performance/connectivity troubleshooting
Ticketing system experience (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Remote support experience
Communication
English is the working language (German is a plus)
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to end users
Documentation mindset, team-oriented, solution-focused

Key Responsibilities
- Process and resolve incidents/requests via ServiceNow
- Categorize tickets (e.g., interfaces, Active Workspace, T4S, etc.) and manage prioritization/escalation
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles for recurring issues
- Manage Teamcenter license assignments and permissions via ServiceNow requests
- Administer users, groups, roles, and access rights
- Plan and execute regular updates and patches (Windows security updates, Teamcenter, CAD)
- Windows/security updates typically every 4 weeks
- Apply updates in test first, then production
- Maintain compatibility matrices for Teamcenter/CAD/server components
- Perform proactive monitoring (system health, performance, error trends, ticket statistics)
- Run key user meetings every 4 weeks to collect requirements and improve operations
- Maintain complete operational documentation (infrastructure, processes, tools, update procedures)
