Software Engineer – Platform Maintenance & Development

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Strong knowledge of Python, REST APIs, and data integration patterns
• Experience with SQL and Celery workers
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience maintaining production systems, debugging performance and data issues
• Understanding of Git workflows, and automated testing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to operate autonomously
• Bonus: Experience with marketplace or ERP integrations, or RPA automation tools.

As a Software Engineer - Platform Maintenance & Development, you will take full technical ownership of an e-commerce automation platform - maintaining its stability, extending integrations, and driving new feature development across marketplaces, logistics, and reporting layers.

• Ensure high availability and reliability of the platform (monitoring, logging, troubleshooting)
• Maintain and evolve existing integrations with marketplaces and logistics partners
• Build and optimize scalable backend services, APIs, and connectors in Python (Django/FastAPI preferred)
• Implement automated tests and monitoring pipelines to improve stability and reduce regression risk
• Lead bug fixing, deployment, and change management processes
• Collaborate with the business and operations teams to understand requirements, prioritize fixes, and implement new marketplace features
• Suggest and implement process automation (e.g., finance uploads, return handling)
• Manage the full software lifecycle: design → code → test → deploy → monitor
