Candidatul Ideal
We are looking for an ambitious accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks performed for our group of companies. He/ she will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the companies be fully aware of the financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable/payable accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments (Supply Chain, Purchasing, Commercial, Operations, Production) to resolve non-routine accounting issues.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper follow-up on open items.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed-asset subledger, ensuring correct capitalization and depreciation.
• Prepare and review monthly VAT returns, corporate tax computations, and other statutory declarations, ensuring full compliance with Romanian legislation and Group policies.
• Support external audits through timely preparation of schedules and clear documentation.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and accuracy of transactions in SAP, helping improve posting and reconciliation flows.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closings, including accruals, provisions and adjustments under Romanian GAAP.
• Provide backup and cross-coverage for key accounting areas (taxes, payroll, fixed assets) to secure process continuity. • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally within an industrial or multinational environment.
Technical skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Romanian accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI) and good understanding of SD flows (sales, invoicing, and customer postings).
• Solid command of Microsoft Excel and ERP-based reporting tools
