As a SCM Junior Supporter, your role is to manage demands within the Weidmüller Group, coordinate with Sales Entities, Sources and Logistics teams to optimize inventory, minimize shortages and maintain an efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
• Support of local sales units within the global material chain to find optimal solutions for serving customer orders in day-to-day operations;
• Administration and managing of replenishment and supplier PO´s internationally in consideration with SCM and logistics process requirements;
• Provide possible alternative supply / material / logistics solutions to support Sales Organizations;
• Continuous proof of inventory / global stock values;
• Ideas to optimize parameters for optimal supply to the markets, taking into account economical aspects – delivery service, stocks, costs;
• Execute Monitoring principles for responsible accounts / business;
• Handling of delivery claims and timely identification including active communication of recognized supply bottlenecks and taking appropriate economical measures to ensure delivery performance; considering allocation principles;
• Support of monthly demand forecast by addressing issues to demand planning team;
• (Travel to Germany and abroad as required).

Your Profile
• Commercial Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or Economic studies or 3 years experience in a similar position;
• First experience in Supply Chain and good understanding of best practices;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact well with employees at all levels;
• Involvement and motivation to achieve results;
• Analytical and problem solving skills;
• Ability to multi-task and flexibility;
• Experience in SAP – MM, PP or SD;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Proficiency in English and ideally German / any other language spoken is an advantage.
