Candidate Profile
Education Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Informatics.

Experience & Hard Skills
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, preferably working with a cloud-based ERP. Direct experience with Sage Intacct is a major advantage, though strong technical backgrounds with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Workday are welcome.
Web / API Development: Proven experience working with Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML API 2.1 / 3.0) and data manipulation formats (JSON, XML).
Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more languages commonly used for integrations (Python, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, or Java).
Databases: Strong command of SQL.
Business Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial data flows is highly desirable.

Soft Skills & Languages
Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required for reading documentation, interacting with global vendor support, and team communication. [Add French/Romanian as a plus if applicable].
Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
High attention to detail and rigor, given the critical nature of financial data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders (accountants, financial controllers).

About the Role
As a Sage Intacct Developer, you will play a critical role in the evolution, customization, and integration of our financial management system. You will work closely with the Finance and IT teams to translate business processes into reliable technical solutions, automate data flows, and connect Sage Intacct with our broader corporate application ecosystem (CRM, HRIS, BI tools).

Key Responsibilities
Development & Customization
Design, develop, and deploy customizations within Sage Intacct using Platform Services (Smart Events, Smart Rules, Custom Objects, Custom Fields).
Build custom views, advanced financial reports, and dashboards to meet the analytical needs of the finance department.
Develop and optimize scripts to automate daily accounting and financial processes.
Integrations & APIs
Design, test, and maintain bidirectional integrations between Sage Intacct and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, payroll software, e-commerce platforms) utilizing the Sage Intacct Web Services API (XML / REST).
Manage data exchange workflows using middleware platforms or iPaaS solutions (e.g., Boomi, Workato, Celigo, or custom ETLs).
Business Analysis & Project Management
Gather and analyze technical and functional requirements from end-users and the finance team.
Write detailed technical specifications and maintain clear documentation for all custom developments.
Conduct impact analyses for new Sage Intacct platform releases and updates.
Support & Maintenance
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for issues related to custom developments and integrations.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot API error logs, and optimize existing code.
Manage Sandbox testing environments and ensure safe deployment pipelines to production.
