Production & Material Planner

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related majors.

• At least 2-4 years in production planning, capacity planning, or material requirements planning (MRP) within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in metal processing industry (iron, aluminum) is a strong advantage; experience working with Chinese suppliers or imported raw materials is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of production planning, material management, and inventory control, with the ability to develop and implement planning schedules independently.

• Experience with capacity planning, production planning, and MRP, and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or planning tools
• Familiar with cookware manufacturing processes, BOM management, and raw materials such as iron and aluminum plates.
• Strong data analysis skills, able to analyze production and material data to support planning and decision-making
• Ability to anticipate supply or production risks (e.g., raw material delays, capacity bottlenecks) and propose effective solutions.

• Fluent Romanian and English (spoken and written), able to communicate effectively with internal teams, Chinese suppliers, and EU partners. Chinese language is a plus.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
• Detail-oriented and careful, with the ability to avoid planning errors and supply risks.

• Certifications related to production planning, supply chain management or material management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
• Experience in using ERP systems or professional planning software is preferred.

• Develop and update short- and long-term capacity plans based on business goals, sales forecasts, production capacity, and raw material supply (iron and aluminum plates, cookware semi-finished products imported from China).
• Analyze equipment, manpower, and production layout to identify capacity bottlenecks and propose improvements to increase efficiency and utilization.
• Monitor capacity utilization and adjust plans based on production progress, material availability, and sales order changes to ensure capacity meets market demand.

• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, including production sequencing and allocation of equipment and manpower, ensuring alignment with sales orders and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production progress, coordinate with the production team to resolve delays, equipment issues, or process problems, and ensure timely and quality completion of production targets.
• Collect and analyze production data (output, efficiency, defect rates), prepare reports, and continuously improve production plans to increase efficiency and on-time delivery.

• Develop and manage material requirements plans (MRP) based on production plans, cookware BOM, and inventory levels of raw materials and semi-finished products.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to track raw material imports from China, ensuring timely delivery and inspection to avoid production delays.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to balance availability and cost.
• Update material plans based on changes in production schedules, sales orders, or supply conditions.

• Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, warehouse, and import/export teams to ensure smooth production planning, material supply, and order delivery
• Coordinate with Chinese suppliers to confirm raw material supply schedules and with sales teams to obtain accurate forecasts and order information.
• Ensure planning and production activities comply with Romanian regulations and company procedures, supporting required documentation and reporting.

• Develop and improve production planning and material management processes to increase efficiency.
• Support production budgeting and cost control related to capacity and materials.
• Participate in production improvement projects, proposing solutions to optimize planning and production management.

• Work location: Office and factory in Pitesti; occasional on-site work may be required to coordinate production and check material inventory.
• Working hours: Standard working hours, with occasional overtime required to adjust plans or handle urgent production and material supply issues.
