Candidatul Ideal
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, computer technology, telecommunications or other technical disciplines.
- Prior experience with POS, ATM or payments systems is an advantage.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software; familiarity with firmware, device drivers and peripheral components.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, basic routing, VPN) and common interfaces (USB, serial, Ethernet).
- Experience with ticketing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer service, communication and facilitation skills; professional and patient approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.
- Clean and valid driver’s license; willingness to travel for on-site service.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Presents an advantage:
- Certification or training in payments/ATMs/POS technologies.
- Experience with payment protocols, PCI-DSS awareness or cash-handling procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair POS, ATM and payments-related hardware and software within SLA targets.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades, firmware updates and preventive maintenance.
- Provide both field and office-based activities according to customer requirements.
- Act as an intermediary between the company and end-users, delivering clear technical guidance and support.
- Monitor device operability and functionality; report, document and escalate technical issues when needed.
- Respond to customer calls, perform problem identification, escalation and resolution.
- Complete back-office tasks related to field interventions (tickets, reports, spare parts tracking).
- Support remote diagnostics and basic network connectivity checks for devices.
