The Outsourcing Project Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of outsourcing projects, from the initial analysis phase through operational stabilization. The role acts as a key coordination point between internal teams and external service providers, ensuring service quality standards are met, timelines are respected, and strategic objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Governance
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of outsourcing projects.
- Develop and implement structured project plans with clearly defined milestones and dependencies.
- Ensure effective project governance, including reporting, steering committees, and escalation management.
- Monitor budgets, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders and management.
- Support RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure suppliers meet contractual commitments and performance expectations.
- Manage contract amendments, changes, and potential disputes.
- Map and document processes that will be outsourced.
- Oversee knowledge transfer and training activities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure smooth and controlled transition phases for outsourced services.
- Stakeholder Management & Change Support
- Build strong relationships with internal business departments.
- Act as the main liaison between internal teams, management, and external partners.
- Support organizational change through clear communication and structured coordination
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in project management, strategic analysis, and procurement processes (RFI/RFP).
- Proficiency in reporting and management tools (ERP systems, Excel, project management software).
- Understanding of governance processes and outsourcing regulations.
- Mandatory: working proficiency in English and French (minimum B2 level).
- 5-10 years of experience in outsourcing project management, vendor management, or a similar role.
