- Ensure availability of materials for externally sourced components (purchased parts);
- Ensure stock levels are aligned with the global MQ strategy;
- Review planning requirements and ensure timely placement of purchase orders to suppliers;
- Monitor supplier deliveries and manage supplier objections or constraints;
- Check material availability and inform the Production Controller about component shortages;
- Communicate regularly with suppliers and respond to objection letters;
- Review open purchase requisitions and manage the backlog.
