About the Position

We are seeking a commercially focused (Senior) Marketing Specialist to support ALS in Poland and Romania. The role will deliver targeted marketing initiatives that support sales objectives, generate leads, strengthen client engagement, and help convert opportunities into business.

Working closely with sales, technical, and operational teams, you will plan, coordinate, and evaluate activities including email campaigns, LinkedIn and website content, events, seminars, and trade fairs. Success will be measured by the impact of these initiatives, including engagement, leads generated, sales opportunities, and client conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with sales teams to understand commercial priorities, target markets, and client needs, and develop marketing campaigns that support lead generation, client acquisition, cross-selling, and retention.

• Create and coordinate content for email campaigns, LinkedIn, websites, presentations, brochures, PDFs, and other sales materials, ensuring it is relevant for the local market and aligned with ALS global brand guidelines.

• Manage Romanian content and coordinate the translation and adaptation of materials for the Polish market with local colleagues.

• Maintain and update website content using Sitecore.

• Support trade fairs, seminars, webinars, client meetings, and other promotional activities.

• Monitor and report on campaign results—including email, website and social media engagement, leads, sales opportunities, and event outcomes—and use findings to recommend improvements.

• Support the tracking and follow-up of marketing-generated leads with sales teams.

• Conduct market and competitor research and coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and event organisers as required.

• Comply with all ALS health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, demand generation, or a related field, with an understanding of how marketing supports the sales process.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English. Polish is not required, as local colleagues will support translation and adaptation.

• Strong PowerPoint skills and confidence creating professional presentations, marketing materials, and working with PDF files.

• Experience using LinkedIn and other social media for business communication, as well as content tools such as Adobe Express and/or Canva.

• Experience managing website content; familiarity with Sitecore is an advantage.

• Strong organisational, stakeholder-management, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Graphic design, CRM, email marketing, analytics, or other marketing platform experience is an advantage, but not essential. Internal training and support—including from ALS’s in-house design team—will be available.
