Junior HR Officer

About The Role


The Junior HR Officer plays a key support role within the Human Resources department, assisting with a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. This role involves maintaining employee records, coordinating interviews and onboarding processes, tracking attendance and timekeeping, and managing occupational health appointments. The Junior HR Officer also supports basic accounting tasks such as invoice processing and expense tracking, including handling medical invoices and preparing related reports. This position is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the HR and administrative field.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Schedule interviews and send calendar invites
• Assist in maintaining and updating employee information & attendance in HR systems
• Help ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
• Support the preparation of onboarding documents
• Organize new colleagues onboarding ( logistics, welcome emails and induction schedules)
• Help prepare standard HR documents (e.g., addendums, certificates, terminations)
• Organize and archive digital and physical files
• Assist in monitoring employee leave requests
• Ensure accurate timesheet management by verifying records, coordinating with payroll, and resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate and oversee employee occupational health processes, including medical check-ups, certification tracking, invoice management, and reporting.
• Respond to routine HR-related queries/tickets
• Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Register and archive invoices and receipts
• Prepare basic financial summaries for accounting
• Assist with expense tracking and reimbursement documentation
• Maintain records of payments related to employee benefits or services
