We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Buyer to join our team. As a Junior Buyer, you will be sourcing and procuring commodities at the best possible prices while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements:
University graduate
Minimum experience as a Junior Buyer or in a similar procurement role
Negotiation and communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Junior Buyer – Key Responsibilities

Support the procurement process for consumables, maintenance services, cleaning services, and personal protective equipment (PPE), in line with company needs
Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers, requesting quotations and comparing offers to ensure best value
Place and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and correct documentation
Maintain and update supplier records and purchasing data in internal systems
Monitor supplier performance and report any issues related to quality, delivery, or service
Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations
Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, and Business Development to understand operational needs
Assist in preparing basic purchasing reports, including costs, consumption, and supplier performance
Handle internal requests and supplier communication in a professional and timely manner
