The ideal candidate is a hands-on FPGA Engineer with strong experience in RTL integration and verification, capable of bringing complex designs from RTL to a working FPGA implementation. They are comfortable working primarily with Xilinx FPGAs, while being open and adaptable to other FPGA platforms.
They have solid exposure to image processing and/or signal processing in RTL, without being limited exclusively to these areas, and are able to understand, integrate, and debug high-throughput data paths. The candidate enjoys working close to hardware, performing FPGA bring-up, debugging with on-chip tools, and building FPGA demos and proof-of-concept designs.
They are detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of collaborating effectively with RTL designers, algorithm engineers, and software teams. A proactive mindset, strong debugging skills, and the ability to document and communicate technical results clearly are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate and test RTL code on FPGA platforms
- Implement, integrate, and validate image processing and signal processing RTL blocks, alongside other digital RTL components
- Work mainly with Xilinx FPGAs (Vivado, IP Integrator, constraints, timing closure), as well as other FPGA families
- Perform FPGA bring-up, debugging, and validation
- Develop and present FPGA demos and proof-of-concept implementations
- Perform RTL verification (simulation, debugging, functional validation)
- Optimize designs for performance, latency, and resource utilization
- Debug designs using on-chip tools (ILA, VIO) and lab equipment
- Collaborate with RTL, algorithm, and software teams
- Document designs, test results, and demo procedures
