Work Location: Aricestii Rahtivani, Prahova County, Romania

This position is addressed to applicants already resident and with valid work permit in Romania at the time of application.


Purpose of the Position: Coordinate Project activities under Saipem Romania responsibility, ensuring alignment between Project Teams, Corporate Functions, Local Management and Group Entities, with particular focus on project economics, budgeting, contracts management, planning, and project financial performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that documentation related to Company Project Management activities is issued in a timely manner and is fit for purpose.
  • Review the Project Scope of Work and execution strategy to ensure alignment between project requirements, Pipeline Technologies Center activities, and approved budgets.
  • Act as focal point for Company Project Management activities, and interface between Project Teams, Client Representatives, and the operational Pipeline Technologies Center organization.
  • Coordinate with Projects specialists, including Welding, NDT, Coating, Asset Management, Maintenance, Procurement, and other technical disciplines, to ensure consistency of project budgets and execution plans.
  • Collect, consolidate, and validate technical and financial information required for budget preparation, forecasting activities, management reviews, and Project Status Reports.
  • Monitor Revenue Backlog and ensure the timely preparation, issuance, and revision of Contracts (WOs), including the collection and consolidation of supporting documentation required to justify budget variations and scope changes.
  • Monitor budgets and project costs throughout the engineering and execution phases.
  • Identify, analyze, and communicate deviations from planned activities, budgets, schedules, and forecast assumptions.
  • Monitor Change Orders and their impact on project economics, supporting the preparation of technical and commercial documentation required for change order claim processes.
  • Participate in periodic project review meetings with technical disciplines.
  • Contribute to project close-out activities, prepare budget close-out reports and providing feedback to Tendering function.
  • Support the preparation and alignment of management presentations and quarterly reviews reports.
