We are recruiting for one of our clients, a stable and rapidly growing group active in the field of technical and energy solutions and engineering projects. The organization stands out for its modern projects, high quality standards, and a work environment focused on efficiency and collaboration. As the business grows at an accelerated pace, we are looking for a Contract Manager to take ownership of complex project contracts from signature through to completion.

About the Role
You will take over each project from the moment it is won and the contract is signed, and you will own the contract throughout its execution, managing technical, commercial, financial and legal risks. This role is for a senior, autonomous professional who knows what needs to be done, takes initiative and drives solutions, not someone who waits to be told what to do.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of signed project contracts and act as the main point of reference for contractual matters throughout project execution

• Analyse contracts from a technical, commercial, financial and legal perspective to identify and mitigate risks

• Handle full contract administration: obligations, deadlines, deliverables, notices, guarantees, change orders and contractual correspondence

• Verify, together with the technical teams, that contractual requirements are technically feasible and can be delivered as agreed

• Validate payment milestones and instalments, and assess the financial impact of contractual decisions on the business

• Manage variations, claims and disputes, protecting the company’s contractual position

• Coordinate with project management, engineering, finance, procurement and legal teams to keep execution aligned with the contract

• Manage contractual relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

• Report contract status, risks and financial exposure to management

Key Requirements

• Senior experience in contract management for large technical or engineering projects (energy, EPC, construction or infrastructure)

• Proven ability to read, interpret and manage complex, lengthy contracts end to end

• Solid understanding of the technical, commercial, financial and legal sides of a contract and how they interact

• Experience with payment milestones, variations and claims management

• Strong ownership, proactivity and a solution-oriented mindset; able to work autonomously and take initiative

• Fluent English [to confirm]

Nice To Have

• Experience with FIDIC or other international contract frameworks

• Background in engineering, law or economics

• Experience in the energy sector (renewables, power, substations)
