Category Manager –Beverages & Tobacco

Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – Beverages & Tobacco to take ownership of one of the company’s most dynamic and high-turnover categories. Your role will be to develop and implement effective category strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in category management or buying within beverages or tobacco segments.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Good understanding of market dynamics and consumer trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong ownership and initiative.
• Valid Category B driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the category strategy for Beverages and Tobacco, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and secure the best purchasing conditions.
• Develop assortment and pricing strategies that balance customer needs with business profitability.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and sales data to optimize the offer and anticipate future trends.
• Coordinate promotional and trade marketing activities.
• Monitor supply chain performance, ensuring product availability and minimizing losses.
• Prepare regular reports and insights on category performance. alignment.
