Candidatul Ideal
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Be a Certified Chartered Accountant (Romanian CECCAR) or equivalent (mandatory).
- 10+ years of professional experience, out of which 7+ years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation.
- Be familiar with international taxation principles and double taxation treaties.
- Possess hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Business Central, SAP).
- Communicate fluently in English (written and spoken); a second foreign language is a plus.
- Have strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be highly organized, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex client portfolios.
- Be proactive in identifying new business opportunities and improving delivery service.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Accounting & Tax Compliance
- Supervise bookkeeping, payables, receivables, fixed assets, and payroll.
- Ensure statutory and management reporting is accurate and timely.
- Provide tax advisory and fiscal compliance support (VAT, CIT, TP, DAC6, etc.).
- Perform IFRS restatements and financial consolidations.
- Act as a key point of contact for tax audits and liaise with authorities when required.
- Manage a client portfolio valued at ~EUR 450k–500k.
- Maintain client satisfaction and provide strategic accounting/tax advice.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
- Support the Go-to-Market (G-t-M) and business development initiatives.
- Lead a team of junior and senior accountants.
- Allocate tasks, supervise performance, and conduct evaluations.
- Offer coaching, technical guidance, and on-the-job training.
- Ensure effective team utilization and budget management.
- Identify digital tools and automation solutions to streamline operations.
- Participate in ERP implementation projects and optimize internal workflows.
- Recommend and implement improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance.
