IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a receptionist/manager to run our new Hostel in Constanta.
Would suit a single person without children.
Previous experience working in a Hotel environment would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the English language is a MUST as all our guests will be English Speaking.
We are looking for a honest, trustworthy person who can work on their own, make their own decisions and take initiative.
You must also have a lively personality and be able to laugh and joke with our guests daily.
You must also be computer aware and be familiar with windows programmes using a laptop.
Ideally we would prefer someone who lives in Constanta, knows the City well and is able to show our guests around and take them to places of interests, bars, clubs and good cheap local restaurants.
A good knowledge of Constanta City is a must !
If you are a student who has just finished University, we will also consider you if we feel you have the right personality and attitude to fit into a lively Hostel environment.
Other essential odd jobs involved in the daily running of a busy Hostel as and when required.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fun, lively tourism job and practice and perfect their English at the same time.
If you have a car and driving licence it would be a bonus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / BENEFITS:
Your duties will include manning our reception desk.
Checking the internet daily plus our website to record booking and answer enquiry emails.
Monitoring our beds and knowing at all times how many are available.
Checking all guests in and recording their passport details.
Giving guests local information about Constanta and issuing a free map to all groups when they arrive.
Stripping beds daily and giving new guests clean bedding.
Changing the washing machine over every hour to ensure all our washing is always up to date.
Cleaning the Hostel and showers in at midday after all guests have gone out for the day.
Checking buses and trains times for guests as and when required.
Telephoning other Hostels in Romania and Bulgaria to reserve beds for guests moving on.
Chatting with guests, making them feel welcome and making sure they are always happy.
We are paying 200 Euros per month plus FREE accomodation living in the Hostel.
Hours will be 8am - 8pm daily and as required
This is a permanent position all year round.
Interviews will be held in Constanta.
