MEDINA MED LTD. – Stara Zagora was set up in 1990 by Eng. Ivan Panchov and Ms Iliana Panchova.

The company is a direct importer of automobile tyres of the MICHELIN, CONTINENTAL and GOODYEAR concerns and their trademarks MICHELIN, KLEBER, KORMORAN, BFGOODRICH, CONTINENTAL, SEMPERIT, BARUM, AMERICA, SPORTIVA , GOODYEAR , SAVA , FULDA and DUNLOP.

MEDINA MED offers the customers a full range of tyres, manufactured by the two concerns - light, freight, industrial, agricultural, etc. MEDINA MED is also the exclusive importer for Bulgaria of the wheel rims bearing the trademark of JANTSA.

In 1996 MEDINA MED started manufacturing retread tyres for buses and trucks utilizing materials supplied by KRAIBURG – Germany.

In 2002 MEDINA MED started retreading industrial tyres (for freight dump trucks, loading machines, autograders, etc.) with wheel rims of 24" to 51".

Customers of the retread tyres of MEDINA MED are ELATSITE MED PLC, CHELOPECH MINING PLC, ZLATNA PANEGA CEMENT PLC, SALS PLC, OGNYANOVO-K PLC, BUCHIM MACEDONIA, etc.

In 2005 the production workshop for retreading freight tyres in Stara Zagora was renovated and equipped with new generation machinery of MATTEUZZI – Italy and three autoclaves, thus the production capacity was enhanced to reach 150 retread tyres per day. The input control is carried out by automated ultrasound control system – TYRESCAN.

Since May 2006 the new service and production center of MEDINA MED has been operating in Sofia, constituting of a complex, including a modern service center for tyres (light, freight, industrial and agro) and a workshop for retreading bus and truck tyres.

In June 2006 MEDINA MED implemented the technology of cold retread of MICHELIN – RECAMIC into the production of retread bus and truck tyres in Stara Zagora. The provided profiles are analogous with those of the new MICHELIN tyres, and the distance run by the retread tyres manufactured under this technology is commensurate with the distance run by the new MICHELIN tyres.

The production activity of MEDINA MED is certified as per ISO 9001:2000 and homologated in conformity with the regulations of ESE 109.

In October 2008 MEDINA MED opened a new service and warehouse center in Burgas.

You can find our tyres at our numerous distributors all over the country, under identical conditions.

In all our centers we offer dismounting-mountig and balance of the purchased tyres, whether new or retread, and in addition in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Burgas our centers offer adjusting the automobile geometry.

MEDINA MED provides its customers with high quality repair of light, freight, agro and industrial tyres utilizing materials of TIP TOP - Germany.

The company has its own service centers in the towns of Stara Zagora, Sofia, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Kazanlak, Burgas, Varna, Pleven and Ruse. The central warehouse is located in the town of Stara Zagora, and all supplies to the company's service centers within the country are provided using company's own transport.

Each year we present the tyres manufactured and sold by company at the International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, and at the autumn fair in 1998 the retread tyres under the method of COLD RETREAD of MEDINA MED were awarded GOLD MEDAL for bus and truck tyres, and in 2003 – for industrial tyres retread.
