Job Description

Join our lumber defect annotation team
We are seeking a professional with passion for wood quality to join our expanding team on a full time or part time basis (minimum 6 hours).
If you are currently a student or graduated from a Faculty of Wood Technology, Wood Engineering, or have experience grading lumber we encourage you to apply.
Neural Grader is digitalizing the wood industry worldwide.

Your Role
  • Annotate defects (sound and unsound) on images of lumber, ensuring each annotation is accurate, properly classified, and meets the required quality standards.
  • Verify, test, sort, sample, and evaluate labelled data to ensure compliance with quality standards and to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
