- Completed business or related degree, preferably including mechanical background, or equivalent qualification such as technician/master craftsman with additional commercial training;
- Several years of international professional experience in industrial procurement;
- Strong conceptual abilities combined with entrepreneurial mindset;
- Business‑fluent English, both written and spoken;
- Preferably business-fluent in German as well;
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA and confident handling of MS Office applications;
- Structured, goal‑oriented, and solution‑driven working style;
- Strong team player with strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, initiative, and an agile working; approach.
- Willingness to travel.

- Lead and manage the operational and strategic procurement team across multiple material groups, including manufacturing, subassemblies, catalog items, treatments, and indirect materials;
- Develop, refine, and implement procurement strategies, methods, and procedures to support overall business objectives;
- Analyze low‑cost markets to identify potential savings opportunities and drive efficiency improvements;
- Develop and implement new methods and processes to ensure on‑time delivery, high quality, and budget adherence;
- Apply strong commercial, legal, and negotiation expertise, particularly in exception handling and claim management;
- Introduce and apply new approaches for identifying and qualifying suppliers, and actively support supplier development initiatives;
- Establish and enhance methods for monitoring supplier performance and ensuring continuous improvement;
- Build, maintain, and expand strategic relationships with key suppliers at both regional and global levels;
- Negotiate global framework agreements and conduct global supplier audits;
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members;
- Define objectives in coordination with management and ensure consistent progress tracking;
- Ensure compliance with internal compliance directives and promote adherence among suppliers;
- Maintain close collaboration with global Lead Buyers and strengthen cooperation across the global procurement network.
