Main activities

· Checking stock levels for finished and semi-finished goods, as well as raw material availability;
· Analyzing customer forecasts and their impact on production scheduling;
· Developing and updating the production plan based on orders, forecasts, and available capacities;
· Releasing production orders into IT systems (ERP/MES) in accordance with the validated plan; ensuring timely transmission of production orders;
· Tracking actual production against the plan and updating the schedule based on operational events;
· Integrating trial orders, tests for new projects and pre-series stock requests from the Engineering department into the production plan;
· Aligning machine capacity and human resource availability with production requirements;
· Accurately maintaining system parameters for the assigned portfolio to ensure data integrity and optimize internal stock levels (packaging units, safety stock, order multiples, BOM/routing accuracy, etc. – MRP system parameters);
· Collaborating with the Logistics, Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow;
· Monitoring raw material, semi-finished, and WIP (Work-in-Progress) stocks and flagging procurement needs;
· Analyzing deviations from the plan (downtime, material shortages, scrap) and proposing scheduling adjustments;
· Promptly informing the customer representative of any issues affecting the production plan;
· Ensuring delivery deadlines are met by prioritizing orders and rescheduling when necessary;
· Prepares and submits production and planning reports to the direct supervisor and management;
· Participates in operational production meetings and in aligning the plan with customer requirements;
· Schedules new projects (SOP) and project phase-outs (EOP) into production, and adjusts inventory levels in accordance with internal procedures;
· Initiates projects to reduce costs and inventory levels;
· Prepares weekly and monthly reports;
· Conducts risk analysis (materials, customers, suppliers) and initiates projects to mitigate or eliminate risks;
· Actively participates in the plant's continuous improvement initiatives (projects to improve operations within the Logistics department or general factory activities).
