What we’re looking for

As a Senior Solutions Consultant you will be part of a senior, well-established and highly regarded team.

This role requires the Solutions Consultant to define, project and propose technical solutions that meet B2B customers’ needs and help them improve their operational processes and to assist B2B Sales Team to promote technical solutions and services from Orange Romania’s portfolio and/or technologies offered by B2B strategic vendors and partners to build convergent or turn-key (customized non-standard) solutions.


What you’ll be doing

Portfolio Expertise & Market Insight
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Orange Romania’s product and service portfolio, from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Develop and articulate a clear point of view on market demand across areas of competence.
  • Provide documented technical feedback to support the evolution and optimization of Orange Romania’s portfolio solutions.

Presales & Technical Consulting
  • Actively promote standard and “off-the-shelf” solutions from the Orange Romania portfolio.
  • Play a critical role in ensuring successful product adoption by understanding customer needs and identifying the most suitable technical solutions.

Customer Engagement & Public Sector Focus
  • Maintain continuous and structured communication with customers to design and validate technical solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers throughout the contracting phase.

Solution Architecture & Bidding Support
  • Investigate customer requirements and perform technical qualification of identified needs.
  • Design tailored technical solutions in close collaboration with the Architecture Team.

Technical Documentation & Deliverables
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical and commercial documentation
  • Design and document feasibility study requests at customer premises.
  • Define PoC plans, demo scenarios, and pilot execution frameworks.

Internal & External Collaboration
  • Collect technical insights to support reshaping and parameterization of standard products.
  • Identify and coordinate third-party solution partners.
  • In specific projects, act as Solution Architect, supervising documentation delivery towards the transition and implementation teams.

Implementation Support & Technical Project Management
  • Ensure proper documentation of all transitions throughout the implementation lifecycle within a dedicated internal platform.
  • Provide technical project coordination for complex or non-standard ICT solutions.

Knowledge Sharing & Professional Development
  • Organize and deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Plan, prepare, and present technical solution materials for internal and external audiences.

Job Description

What you need to know/have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications and other related domains
  • Selling skills
  • Solid operational knowledge of:
  • MS Office (advanced usage for proposals and documentation)
  • MS Visio (solution and architecture diagrams)
  • MS Project or equivalent planning tools
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service-oriented delivery models
  • Ability to produce structured technical documentation (HLD, SoW, cost models, solution descriptions)
  • Extensive experience working in complex IT&C / telecommunications environments, in roles such as presales, solution design, delivery, or technical consulting
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience in IT&C / telecommunications solutions (recommended for Senior level)
  • Proven experience designing, supporting, or delivering complex, multi-technology ICT solutions for enterprise and/or public sector customers
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, architecture, engineering, delivery)
  • Understanding of public sector constraints (budget cycles, compliance, procurement rules)
  • Outcome-oriented mindset, with a focus on feasibility, deliverability, and risk mitigation
  • Strong prioritization skills in parallel bid / presales activities
  • Driver license (B category)
  • English - fluent speaking and writing
