Senior Accountant

As we are constantly growing, we are looking for a passionate Senior Accountant to help write our story and strengthen our office in Bucharest, as part of the Outsourcing Accounting division. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding services to our clients across a diverse range of industries. The division provides an outsourced finance function to enable clients to focus on the business of growing their companies with the peace of mind that they will have accurate and timely information to make key business decisions.

What we need from you for this job:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or other relevant areas;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting field, in consulting services;
• Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (IFRS experience is an advantage);
• CECCAR trainee or member is an advantage;
• Very good communication skills in English;
• Computer skills (MS Office).

What will you Do:

• Coordinating the team’s activities for dedicated Client portfolio;
• Checking the accuracy and completeness of the accounting records, while following quality control procedures;
• Performing month-end closing activities and reconciliations;
• Preparing Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and VAT calculations;
• Preparing tax declarations for VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Income Tax;
• Preparing monthly/quarterly reports specific to each client;
• Preparing half-year accounting reports and annual financial statements;
• Preparing/Reviewing statistical reports as required by the National Bank of Romania;
• Providing assistance during tax audits or financial audits.
