We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting and finance tasks.

• University degree in Accounting or related
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, at least 3 years as senior accountant
• understanding of local GAAP and IFRS
• Very good understanding of the applicable local taxation
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Team player and ability to work in a flexible way
• Very good knowledge of ERP accounting packages, preferably SAP
• English language: professional proficiency

Job Description:

• Ensure timely and accurate booking of journal entries in SAP to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Understand the rationale behind all GL postings, to ensure reasonableness
• Support in accounts receivable /accounts payable processes
• Support in preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Reviewing the expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assists in implementing budget and forecasts and evaluates results
• Assist chief accountant in all assigned tasks
• Manages day-to-day accounting, in tax functions, month-end close activities, internal and external reporting, and annual audits
• Prepare other accounting projects
