Bachelor's Degree in Law.
Master's Degree in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, International Business Law, or related field is an advantage.
Membership in a recognized legal professional body is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, production, or a similar environment is highly desirable.
Proven experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
English: Advanced / Fluent (written and spoken) - mandatory.
Ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal correspondence in English.
Strong knowledge of: Commercial and contract law, Corporate law, Employment law, Manufacturing and industrial regulations, Environmental compliance requirements, Health & Safety legal framework, Data protection and confidentiality requirements
Strong understanding of risk management principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and legal reasoning skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
Business-oriented mindset with pragmatic decision-making.
High level of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide timely and practical legal advice to management and business functions on corporate, commercial, labor, regulatory, and operational matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable local and international legislation relevant to manufacturing operations.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
Develop, review, and update internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Supply and procurement agreements, Sales contracts, Service agreements, Confidentiality agreements (NDAs), Logistics and transportation contracts, Leasing agreements, Consultancy and outsourcing agreements
Ensure legal and commercial risks are appropriately managed during contract negotiations.
Advise management on legal matters related to manufacturing activities, production processes, quality requirements, product liability, and customer claims.
Support compliance with environmental, health and safety, and industrial regulations.
Provide legal support on employment matters, including disciplinary actions, employee disputes, restructuring projects, and labor law compliance.
Review employment-related documentation and support Human Resources on legal matters.
Support corporate governance activities and maintain corporate records.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
Assist in managing legal documentation related to corporate changes and strategic initiatives.
Manage pre-litigation matters, legal disputes, and claims involving customers, suppliers, employees, or authorities.
Coordinate litigation activities with external legal counsel.
Support the resolution of disputes through negotiation and settlement where appropriate.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
Participate in risk assessments and contribute to business continuity and compliance programs.
Promote legal awareness and compliance culture throughout the organization.
