We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our most strategic National and International accounts team in Romania. In this role, you aren't just managing relationships; you are a commercial architect. You will sit at the intersection of data and action, identifying trends before they become problems and engineering growth strategies that keep our partners—and our platform—ahead of the market.
THE JOURNEY
- Strategic Portfolio Leadership: Own the end-to-end relationship with top-tier national and international chains, acting as a high-level business consultant.
- Advanced Analytics & Forensic Reporting: Move beyond basic KPIs. Evaluate menu performance (AOV, Conversion, Cross-selling) to build sophisticated action plans that hit both partner goals and company OKRs.
- Commercial Engineering: Draw and execute aggressive growth plans. Use promo negotiations and marketing activations not just as "tools," but as surgical instruments to fix performance leaks.
- Revenue & Content Optimization: Drive platform profitability through high-stakes negotiations and asset selling.
- Operational Excellence: Consult with partners to streamline their internal operations, ensuring that high demand translates into high-quality service for the end customer.
- Churn Mitigation: Proactively identify "at-risk" partners through data signals and deploy recovery plans before they become inactive.

- Experience: 5+ years of high-performance experience in Senior Account Management, Strategic Consulting, or Category Management (ideally within FMCG, Food-Hospitality, or On-Demand Delivery).
- The "Consultant" Mindset: A proven track record of using data-driven logic to persuade C-suite stakeholders.
- Numerical Fluency: You are a "Data-Native" individual. You don't just use Excel/Google Sheets; you use them to build the business case for every decision you make.
- Unstoppable Curiosity: You are the person who asks "Why?" five times. You aren't satisfied with knowing what happened; you need to understand the underlying consumer behavior to prevent it from happening again.
- Agility: You thrive in high-growth, high-pressure environments where the pace of change is measured in days, not quarters.
- Communication: Native-level Romanian and professional fluency in English are mandatory for navigating both local operations and international chain requirements.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

Glovo is an on-demand delivery app that allows users to order, send, and receive anything. The app's most popular service is food delivery, which allows users to find and place orders from their favorite restaurants, then have them picked up and delivered to their door by Glovo couriers.
In addition to the food category, the application also includes other categories such as shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, drinks, with which users can choose according to their wishes and needs. In addition, the application also offers the “anything” button through which users can order anything they want, provided that it does not exceed 9 kg and fits within the dimensions of the delivery person's bag, but also the “express courier” category that allows the delivery of envelopes, packages, documents, the recovery of objects forgotten at home, at the office or at friends' (glasses, keys, bags, etc.), in less than an hour.
Originally, Glovo is a Spanish start-up that was founded by Oscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud in 2015 in Barcelona. Globally, the application has over 1 million users and 5600 partners and is active in more than 20 countries around the world, with new cities to follow in the coming period.
In Romania, Glovo launched in May 2018 and was a great success, delivering over 3.8 million orders in its first 18 months of operation, most of which were placed for restaurants, supermarkets and courier services. Currently, the application is active in 14 cities in Romania, namely: Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi, Brasov, Craiova, Constanta, Sibiu, Arad, Ploiesti, Baila, Galati, Oradea and Pitesti.
