Customer Quality Engineer Job Overview
As a Quality Customer Engineer, you will be the customer's representative and represents his interests regarding the quality of the product sold both at the "0 kilometers" moment and under warranty. You will be responsible for developing and completing any project requested by the hierarchical leader; You know and you are aware of the importance of your activity and the impact of achieving quality objectives (impact on product quality, contribution to achieving, maintaining and improving quality, including the consequences in case of non-compliance with customer requirements).
Snr. Quality Customer Engineer Qualifications
• Graduate of technical higher education.
• Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement of min. 3 years.
• Experience in the automotive industry of min. 3 years.
• 6 Sigma/ Greenbelt certification; Blackbelt or Lean Expert is an advantage.
• Geometric dimensions and tolerances, technical drawing
• non-conformity analysis, 8D, 5 whys, cause-effect diagram.
• Process capability calculation, SPC/ PPAP.
• IATF Quality Standard/ Customer requirements.
• Use of SAP
• Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage.

Job Description

Responsibilities of Customer Quality Engineer
  • Coordination and management of teams assigned to analyze customer complaints
  • Coordination of the analysis of the products complained and submission of the resulting analysis report to the customer.
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive measures implemented as a result of quality incidents at the customer.
  • Coordination of customer visits and audits in the factory.
  • Preparation of action plans generated by customer visits and audits and ensure the timely completion of the defined actions.
  • Carrying out both regular (planned by mutual agreement) and unplanned (upon request) visits to the customer's production locations.
  • Maintaining the customer quality incident reporting system up to date, both in the electronic customer databases, as well as in the internal (server) and global databases.
  • Periodically extracting quality information from the client's reporting systems and informing the organization about them.
  • Periodically checking the update of the client's specific quality requirements and informing the organization about the changes that have occurred.
  • Permanently updating the client-specific requirements matrix, ensuring the takeover and implementation of these requirements in the organization
  • Maintaining permanent contact with the client through the agreed communication channels.
  • Snr. Quality Customer Supervisor has the authority to stop production when the process or product does not meet specific quality requirements, and the authority to restart after the deficiencies found have been remedied.
  • Snr. Quality Customer Supervisor approves or blocks/rejects the delivery to the customer of the products for which he is responsible and takes all necessary measures to eliminate the deficiencies found and protect the customer.
