Ideal Candidate

You will help turn Sfera Business audiences into active communities—and well-designed events into lasting relationships, meaningful engagement and new business opportunities.

You may be a strong match if you
  • Have relevant experience in community management, event coordination, communication, marketing, customer engagement or a similar role.
  • Write and speak confidently in both Romanian and English.
  • Are naturally good with people: you initiate conversations, make introductions and help different personalities feel included.
  • Can combine creativity with reliable execution—plans, deadlines, budgets, details and follow-through.
  • Are comfortable with outreach and commercial conversations; you understand that engagement should also create business value.
  • Can work independently in a remote-first environment, ask for clarity when needed and keep others informed without close supervision.
  • Use digital tools confidently (Microsoft or Google Workspace, Zoom/Teams, email marketing, social media and simple databases/CRM tools).
  • Look for solutions, learn quickly and are willing to do both the visible and the behind-the-scenes work of making an event succeed.
A degree in communication, marketing, business or a related field is welcome, but demonstrated capability and good judgement matter more to us than a perfect academic profile.

Job Description

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of community building, business events, communication and business development. You will create reasons for people to join Sfera communities, stay involved, meet one another and continue the conversation after an event. You will own the participant journey before, during and after each initiative, with special attention to follow-up that generates engagement, qualified conversations and future business for Sfera.

What you will do

Build and engage Sfera communities
  • Help define the purpose, audience, value proposition and engagement rhythm of Sfera’s online communities.
  • Create and run practical engagement plans for channels such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, email/newsletters and other relevant platforms.
  • Start and moderate useful conversations, connect members, encourage peer exchange and keep the communities relevant—not merely active.
  • Track participation, feedback and engagement patterns, and continuously test what brings people back.

Design and deliver business events
  • Develop event concepts aligned with clear business and community objectives: target audience, format, content, speakers, partners and desired outcomes.
  • Plan and coordinate in-person and online events—from networking meetings and workshops to webinars and open programmes.
  • Manage venues, suppliers, registrations, budgets, timelines, participant communication and on-the-day logistics.
  • Create a welcoming, professional atmosphere and facilitate interactions that help participants connect meaningfully.

Own communication and conversion
  • Build the communication journey before, during and after each event, including invitations, landing-page copy, social posts, newsletters, reminders and participant materials.
  • Coordinate or create clear, engaging content and work with colleagues or external collaborators on visual assets when needed.
  • Design and execute disciplined post-event follow-up: feedback, useful resources, community invitations, one-to-one outreach and next-step proposals.
  • Maintain accurate contact and participant data, document opportunities and help move relevant conversations towards meetings or projects.
  • Review results—registrations, attendance, engagement, satisfaction, leads and conversions—and turn insights into better future initiatives.

What success could look like
  • Sfera communities have a clear identity, a healthy rhythm and members who actively contribute.
  • Events are well attended, professionally delivered and remembered for the quality of both content and connections.
  • Participants receive timely, relevant follow-up instead of a generic thank-you message.
  • Community and event activity produces measurable engagement, qualified conversations and new business opportunities.

What we offer
  • A flexible, remote-first working model, with in-person collaboration in Bucharest when useful.
  • A high-autonomy role with room to shape how Sfera builds communities and events—not just execute a fixed playbook.
  • Direct access to experienced consultants, trainers, business leaders and a broad corporate network.
  • Learning opportunities through Sfera programmes and meaningful exposure to business, leadership and organisational development.
  • A small, human team where initiative is visible and your work can make a direct commercial impact.
  • A competitive compensation package, discussed according to experience and the scope of responsibility, including bonuses as a consequence of the success in business development and conversion.
