Ideal Candidate
- Valid ISO 9606-1 certification, process 141 (TIG), for carbon steel pipe
- Proven experience in pipe welding under inspection standards (NDT/X-ray), preferably in district heating, process piping, shipbuilding, or petrochemical industries
- English language skills required (basic working level for communication, safety instructions, and technical understanding)
- Willingness to complete a welding test prior to departure (arranged by us)
- VCA/SCC safety certificate, or willingness to obtain one (arranged and covered by us)
- EU passport or valid EU work authorization
- Availability for long-term deployment, including home leave rotations
Job Description
- Perform TIG welding (process 141) on heavy-wall carbon steel pipes (root passes and full welds)
- Work based on isometric drawings and technical plans
- Operate within a fixed team under a permanent foreman
- Deliver welds that meet X-ray quality standards (NDT inspection is part of the role)
- Work primarily indoors or in sheltered construction environments
- Competitive Dutch salary under the applicable collective labour agreement (CAO), positioned at the top range for certified TIG welders working on inspection-grade projects
- Overtime paid at 125%–150%, with additional hours available
