· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field;
· 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and SCADA systems within the energy sector;
· Proven experience in renewable energy projects, especially PV power plants and/or BESS systems;
· Strong hands-on experience with energy management systems, SCADA, RTU, and PLC programming;
· Solid knowledge of IEC 60870-5-104 and IEC 61850 communication protocols;
· Experience in substation automation and power system integration;
· Leadership skills and ability to coordinate technical teams and project activities;
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
· Availability for occasional business travel and onsite commissioning activities;
· Knowledge of Python programming for automation or data analysis would be considered an advantage;
· Familiarity with predictive maintenance, machine learning applications, or energy management systems represents a plus;
· Good level of English (both written and spoken).

Job Purpose: Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation and SCADA solutions for energy infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on PV power plants, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and substation automation. The role requires both strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities, as the successful candidate will coordinate technical activities, support project execution, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients.

· Design, develop, and maintain SCADA applications, mainly using energy management systems;
· Program, configure, and integrate RTUs, PLCs, and substation automation systems according to project requirements and industry standards;
· Lead and support the implementation of automation solutions for renewable energy projects, especially PV power plants and BESS systems;
· Ensure integration and troubleshooting of communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104 and IEC 61850;
· Coordinate technical activities during engineering, testing, commissioning, and site implementation phases;
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project teams;
· Integrate real-time communication networks for efficient and secure monitoring and control systems;
· Perform FAT/SAT testing and commissioning activities, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure;
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize system performance and delivery;
· Support ongoing projects through technical documentation, customer support, and onsite troubleshooting when required.
