- Keep the company compliant with requirements of regulators and existing legislation
- Make sure that compliance-related matters are in line with the strategic financial plans of the company
- Lead from the company side and successfully complete the processes of all external audit missions (NBR, etc.) and internal audit missions
- Communicate directly with regulators in the process of all audit missions and on a case-by-case basis as requested
- Hire and manage external service providers/advisers that may be involved to help with the audit missions and case-by-case requests from regulators
- Ensure that all existing complaints/proposals from customers, 3rd parties, and regulators are processed and closed to the mutual benefit of all parties involved
- Create processes, procedures, and related documents to efficiently organise the processing of complaints/proposals from customers, 3rd parties, and regulators
- Advise on all business matters that may affect compliance processes
Expected Results:
- Take over and keep updated plans for all audit missions - current and future
- Review and implement action plans from previous audit missions
- Create a register for complaints/proposals, keep it up to date and close all the cases in the register in a timely and efficient manner
- Create an action plan for future actions related to upcoming audit missions
Professional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of a senior position in compliance in the finance sector
- Proven track record of successfully passing audit missions by NBR and other regulators
- Experience in direct communication with regulators
- Experience in working with external professional service providers (ideally full cycle - from hiring to implementation)
- Ability to communicate in a structured way and create efficient and actionable operational documents
- Deep understanding of business profitability drivers
- A positive attitude and motivation to achieve targets and grow, both personally and as a part of a team
- Superior communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English is a must
Additional:
- Modern Fintech experience will be a strong advantage
- Previous experience with a reputable international professional service company (like Big4) will be a strong advantage
