Descrierea jobului
Location: Hilversum
Province: Noord Holland
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
With the electrical schematics you draw, you ensure that our control systems function optimally. You work on multiple unique projects simultaneously, so no workday is the same. Today, you start with the electrical schematics for the HVAC of a new superyacht. Can you already see yourself walking around on it? A few minutes of daydreaming is allowed, but then you quickly get to work on the design in E-plan P8.
This is what you will do as a hardware engineer:
You check the technical information of a new project and process it immediately in Typical Manager.
Once everything is complete, which you have checked meticulously, you start with the first design. In between, you regularly coordinate with colleagues from software engineering to ensure the client gets the best automation solution.
After the joint lunch, you finish a production drawing and send it to the production team so they can get started. If changes are needed later, you communicate directly with the departments involved.
Your workday is over. On your way out, you meet a colleague from the project group, catch up briefly, and then it's really time to go.
You will start with a training period at our office in Hilversum to learn and test our system. After this introduction period (approx. 3–6 months), the position will be mainly remote/home-based.
What you get as a hardware engineer:
An excellent salary and up to 38 vacation days if employed on a Dutch contract. If employed locally (e.g., Romanian contract), local vacation terms (typically 25–27 days) apply.
A clear contract: we aim for a permanent position, with an initial 3-month trial period to ensure a good fit.
The option to work remotely after the initial onboarding period – ideal for work-life balance and flexibility.
The opportunity to learn and develop indefinitely. We record your wishes in a development plan.
Experienced colleagues from whom you can learn a lot. Note: Friday afternoon drinks and in-person events are optional due to the remote nature of the job.
