Candidatul Ideal
You will be the first point of contact for our CarbonTool platform users. When a company starts calculating their carbon footprint, you guide them through the process: setting up their organisational boundary, configuring emission sources, uploading data, and interpreting results. You will also conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients and maintain the emission factor database that powers every calculation. This role combines sustainability domain knowledge with client-facing SaaS skills — ideal for an early-career sustainability professional who wants hands-on product experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new organisations onto the platform: account setup, emission source configuration, reporting boundary definition.
- Guide clients through their carbon footprint calculation process: data collection, evidence requirements, factor selection.
- Handle first-level support: answer platform usage questions, troubleshoot data entry issues, escalate technical bugs.
- Maintain and update the emission factor database: annual updates from published government and industry sources.
- Maintain template libraries for decarbonisation initiatives and climate targets.
- Conduct live product demonstrations for prospective clients via video call.
- Respond to inbound leads: qualify interest, schedule demos, follow up.
- Manage trial accounts and gather user feedback.
- Build and maintain a knowledge base for common support questions.
- BSc in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of greenhouse gas accounting: Scope 1, 2, and 3 concepts, organisational boundaries, emission factors.
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication — ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Romanian + English (B2 or higher for English).
- Comfortable with video conferencing and screen sharing for demos.
- Experience with CSRD, EU Taxonomy, or corporate sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Previous experience in a client-facing SaaS role: support, customer success, or pre-sales.
- Familiarity with published emission factor databases (DEFRA, EPA, ADEME).
- Basic understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
- Experience with CRM or pipeline management tools.
- Tools: Modern development environment with AI-assisted tooling.
