The Senior Business Analyst role contributes to the development of the group’s digital insurance products and platforms — from core insurance systems, sales and customer self-service platforms to integrated ecosystems for product administration.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be involved in digitalization projects with real business impact, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to optimize customer experience, automate workflows, and develop modern solutions in the insurance and digital platforms domain.
Job Description
Requirements:
Insurance & Digital Products Experience
Relevant experience in the insurance industry (insurer, broker, InsurTech, or related services)
Good knowledge of general insurance products and related processes: RCA, CASCO, home, health, travel, accident insurance, etc.
Experience in designing customer experience for digital insurance products
Understanding of underwriting, pricing, policy issuance, collections, commissions, and claims processes
Familiarity with ASF regulations, DORA, IDD Directive, and GDPR requirements
Experience with digital insurance distribution channels (web, app, retail)
Business Analysis & IT Collaboration
Experience in business analysis and/or system analysis within software projects
Ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications, user stories and functional flows
Knowledge of process modeling and functional documentation (BPMN, UML or equivalent)
Familiarity with Agile projects and collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams
Understanding of API integration concepts and modern digital platforms is considered an advantage
Experience in digitalization, self-service or automation projects is considered an advantage
Interest in emerging technologies, AI and user experience optimization
Additional Qualifications Appreciated
Experience in complex projects or large insurance organizational environments
Exposure to core insurance platforms or integrated ecosystems
Business Analysis or Product Management certifications are considered an advantage
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, product teams, and IT teams
Define end-to-end flows for digital insurance products and processes
Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams; execute complex testing activities
Identify opportunities for optimization and digitalization of existing processes
Contribute to defining user experience and customer journeys across digital channels
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, compliance teams, and external partners
Actively participate in Agile projects and support alignment between business needs and technical solutions
Contribute to automation initiatives and the integration of intelligent/AI components into digital processes
