Requirements:
- Engineering degree (technical studies);
- Good written and oral English language skills;
- Knowledge of electrical/automotive engineering processes – 3 years manufacturing preferable;
- Well-experienced in MS office tools Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
- Good communication and organizational skills – leading cross-functional teams;
- Production needs may involve a change in the work schedule for a short period of time;
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, WERS, Teamcenter, Catia, SolidWorks represents an advantage.
Job Description
- Provides on-site support for launches localization projects and leads his own function to ensure high quality and timely delivery;
- Provides proactive guidance to expedite the launch and localization process;
- Able to assess and bin the issues accurately, leads the functional team for their closure on time;
- Able to identify required functional support and provides launch support plan in advance. Represents and leads functions on all specific meetings and ensures high quality and timely delivery;
- Prepares and provides comprehensive Handover document to engineering Plant Team counterpart at the end of launch;
- Ensures that issues are accurately investigated and identified by hands-on approach on vehicles. Ensures involvement of relevant stakeholders that are affected by the issues;
- Leads functional team on End of Line issues by providing on-site support and know-how;
- Identifies the next steps with Design and Release and ensures timely closure of the issues;
- Prepares vehicle sign-off check list with the functions;
- Proficient in signing vehicles off according to the check list;
- Attends at least one part lay-out and leads the process and ensures the quality of the parts;
- Leads Bill Of Material Validation (BOM) process and ensures BOM issues closure on time;
- Leads Pedigree Open To Go Shortage Pedigree meetings and ensures high quality and timely pedigree input by providing mentorship to functional team and working with the suppliers as necessary;
- Leads Fit To Nominal and AAR review meetings with Program Management, supplier and functional team and tracks status to ensure closure of the open items;
- Attends Fresh Eye Reviews on-site;
- Leads the functional team for issues found during testing by taking an active role for containment and closure;
- Presents details to stakeholders;
- Provides mentorship to new engineers on Concerns & alerts;
- Proficient in applying Lunch and Quality standards.
