For our client, an important manufacturer and seller of construction materials needed across the country, we are looking for a Permits & Environmental Manager, in Bucharest.

Responsabilities:

Preparing and tracking files: draft the technical and regulatory documents needed for permit applications, follow their review and secure their approval being the key player link person;

Consultation: coordinate with State departments, the ecological transition directorate, technical or steering committees, and environmental consulting firms;

Impact management: analyze environmental risks, define mitigation measures and track performance indicators;

Regulatory compliance: monitor regulations (permits, COLAS GROUP, local standards), bring operations into compliance, and manage environmental permits and registrations;

Management: be the leader of technical teams to manage the ISO 14001 environmental management system and coordinate awareness-raising actions.

Required:

Completed higher education with a university degree;

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;

Advanced proficiency in English;

Knowledge of environmental regulations, mastery of permit procedures, risk management expertise, and knowledge of biodiversity, air quality, contaminated soils.
