Ideal Candidate

We are seeking experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technicians to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a large-scale nuclear power plant project in the UAE.

These roles are critical for ensuring the performance, safety and availability of plant systems through high-quality maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and repair activities.

Candidates must have experience in power generation or high-risk industrial environments, strong technical knowledge, and a strict commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician, you will perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, turbines, compressors, cooling systems, etc.); diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform repairs, disassembly and reassembly of equipment; follow strict Health, Safety & Security procedures at all times.

The Electrical Technician will perform electrical maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, predictive); troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, protection relays and generators.

As a Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician you will perform calibration, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems; maintain and repair sensors, transmitters, analyzers, control loops and field instrumentation; support PLC/DCS systems monitoring, diagnostics and fault resolution.

Requirements

Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical/Instrumentation and Automation Engineering or related field
At least 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance (nuclear or heavy industry preferred), or in electrical maintenance, or in I&C maintenance (power plant or heavy industry preferred)
Preferrably 3–5 years in power generation plants
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial maintenance practices
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance operations and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control loops and industrial automation
Experience with PLC/DCS systems is an advantage
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and manuals, outage plans
Understanding of safety-critical working environments
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information

Work may include shift rotation and on-call emergency support
Strict adherence to nuclear-grade safety, quality and security standards is required
Training and qualification programs may be provided depending on experience level
International project environment with multidisciplinary teams.
