AnimaWings is looking for a Network Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join our Commercial team and support the planning, development and optimization of our growing route network and flight schedule.
The role combines network analysis and flight scheduling, contributing to route planning decisions while ensuring an efficient, commercially relevant and operationally feasible schedule.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and development of AnimaWings' short- and medium-term route network.
Analyse existing and potential routes based on traffic demand, commercial potential, seasonality, competition and operational requirements.
Create, maintain and update flight schedules for scheduled and charter operations.
Support the preparation and implementation of IATA Summer and Winter schedules.
Monitor aircraft rotations, frequencies, timings, turnaround times and fleet utilization, identifying opportunities for schedule optimization.
Support airport slot requests, confirmations, amendments and ongoing slot monitoring.
Participate in the implementation of new routes, frequency changes and other network adjustments.
Support schedule planning and recovery solutions in case of unforeseen irregular operations (IROPs), including operational disruptions, aircraft unavailability, airport restrictions or other unplanned events.
Maintain accurate schedule information across relevant internal systems and ensure timely implementation and communication of changes.
Liaise with airports, slot coordinators and other external partners on network and scheduling matters.
Monitor network and route performance and prepare regular analyses and reports to support commercial decision-making.
Identify network and scheduling opportunities, constraints and potential operational conflicts and proactively propose solutions.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in network planning, flight scheduling, airline operations, revenue management or another analytical aviation role is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret traffic, commercial and operational data.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with HITIT and AIMS platforms is considered a strong plus.
Experience with other airline planning, scheduling or operational systems is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of airport slots and IATA scheduling processes is considered an advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to react quickly and effectively to schedule changes and unforeseen operational situations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic airline environment.
Fluent Romanian and good command of English.
