A Remote and On-site IT Support Technician for retail stores responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across multiple retail locations, Warehouse & HQ office.

• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.

Area of responsibility/ Duties

• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to HQ and store staff
• Install and configure POS systems and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity problems. Maintain and ensure network security.
• Perform routine maintenance
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve connectivity or hardware problems promptly.
• Document issues and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors for installation, technical repairs and upgrades.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Maintain and update Warehouse, HQ staff & store computers and devices.
• Assist with inventory management and recording of IT equipment.
• Ensure data security and backup procedures.
• Support remote and on-site staff with technical issues.
• Conduct hardware repairs and replacements.
• Document support requests and resolutions. Service desk monitoring and support ticket management.
• Train staff on new systems, software and IT related processes.
• Monitor system performance and security.
• Manage remote access and VPN connections.
