Ideal Candidate
- An associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a technical support or IT-related role is beneficial.
- Understanding of Windows, network fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365 Suite, email clients, NAS storage, SharePoint). Follow the Microsoft Intune permissions and layers. Understand Networking layer model infrastructure – Firewall devices, managed switch and access points.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to diagnose, resolve and communicate technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
Job Description
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot problems to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Assist in the maintenance, installation, and configuration of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Support the maintenance, setup new connection points, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
- Install and update software applications as required, ensuring all systems are up to date with the latest patches and security updates.
- Provide basic training and assistance to end-users on the use of hardware and software, ensuring they can effectively perform their tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, and service requests. Document all technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining Webuild security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
- Help manage and track IT inventory.
- Work closely with senior IT staff to identify areas for improvement in system performance and reliability. Assist with larger IT projects and initiatives as required.
