Ideal Candidate
As an IT Application Owner, you will take end-to-end responsibility for globally used applications and systems across Weidmüller throughout their full lifecycle. You will partner with business stakeholders to turn process needs into smart, scalable IT solutions. In this role, you will help ensure technical compliance, create measurable business value, and actively support Weidmüller’s digital transformation journey.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Product Vision & Strategy: Shape and continuously refine a clear product vision aligned with the broader IT strategy.
• Backlog & Release Management: Prioritize requirements, manage the product backlog, and coordinate releases with a strong focus on business value.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with process owners, business teams, and external partners to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure alignment with security standards, governance requirements, and internal policies.
• Lifecycle & License Management: Drive continuous improvement, enhancements, incident handling, support, and activities related to software license management.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor application performance, define relevant KPIs, and identify opportunities for optimization.
Your Profile
Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or completed vocational training in IT.
• Language skills: English (B2) is required. German (B2) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT application management or a comparable role.
• A solid understanding of IT architecture, enterprise applications, security, networks, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of process modeling (BPMN 2.0), project management, and software license management is highly beneficial.
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform is helpful, but not a must-have criterion.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and levels.
