Job Description
Manage supplier creation process (such as fact profile, supplier ID, lead-buyer assignment, segment/category allocation, initial risk screening etc.).
Ensure system access (APP for PLM access etc.).
Manage supplier/partner involvement in innovation and development.
- Ensure a valid confidentiality agreement for the project description and scope.
- Facilitate innovation dialogues with internal and external parties.
- Secure and manage collaboration agreements, including SOW and IP, and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Manage RFI/RFQs to potential suppliers and partners. Evaluate the deal value.
Contribute to the new product development, driving an end-to-end perspective:
- Manage the cross-functional CLD assessment to identify CLD levels and critical systems and components—lead related component activities.
- Manage TFD/TFC with suppliers and development teams. Bring new ideas in the concept development phase for design to cost approach.
- Provide early DM cost estimates to the Costed BOM for business case evaluations globally, contribute to commercials evaluations and to meet DM Cost targets.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Support Pre-serial VEVA and Standardization.
- Coordinate and involve SCM key competences (SQ, Segments, CIT, Logistics).
Ensure segment strategy alignment and supply chain readiness globally for new product innovations:
- Coordinate with development teams and propose development partners (Pre-APDS sourcing governance).
- Propose and align with segments on suppliers/partners for RFI/RFQ involvement.
- Address and drive segment strategic actions on supplier footprint globally (quality, commercial, raw material availability etc
