About the Role

We are looking for an HVAC Engineer to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient supply of all utilities for tire production at a large-scale manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on technical ownership role for an experienced HVAC engineer who combines deep knowledge of air treatment, cooling, and energy systems with a proactive maintenance mindset and strong cross-departmental collaboration skills.


Key Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Automation Engineering
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HVAC engineering — chillers, cooling water, ventilation, heating, and energy optimisation
Advanced knowledge of power distribution, gas, steam, water, compressed air, vacuum, cooling, and air treatment systems
Experience in complex or large-scale industrial projects
Familiarity with Automation, BMS, SCADA, and metering/monitoring systems
Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
Strong knowledge of legal, safety, and environmental standards applicable to HVAC and utilities
Minimum B2 English language skills
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Strong stakeholder management capabilities across multiple departments

Nice To Have

Experience in a tire or automotive manufacturing environment
Background in energy optimisation projects at industrial scale
Experience with cold plasma or advanced air treatment systems
Familiarity with large-scale utility infrastructure in a production setting

Key Responsibilities

Ensure reliable, safe, and efficient supply of all utilities supporting tire production
Act as technical owner for the full functionality of air treatment systems, including cold plasma technology, and provide direct operational support in the HVAC area
Define maintenance measures and strategies; build and manage OPEX and CAPEX requirements
Support the commissioning of new equipment
Participate in hotline and on-call duty; ensure rapid and safe response to breakdowns
Ensure alignment with key stakeholders across Production, ESH (Environment, Safety and Health), and Controlling
Propose and implement maintenance strategies, spare parts planning, and improvement initiatives
Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on HVAC and utility systems
Drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety, reliability, energy efficiency, cost control, and production continuity
