ManpowerGroup Romania is recruiting a Head of Sales for its client, a company operating in the construction materials industry.

Location: Bucharest

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction materials industry;
Relevant experience in managing commercial relationships with major retail and DIY chains;
Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team of at least 20 people;
In-depth knowledge of the market and key customers;
Experience in developing and implementing commercial and sales strategies;
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills;
Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving sales targets;
Very good command of English;
Category B driving license and availability for frequent business travel across the country.

Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate, and manage the sales team;
Identify, approach, and evaluate distributors and Key Accounts across the country, ensuring strong market coverage together with the sales team;
Maintain and further develop strong business relationships with the company’s existing and potential customers;
Drive revenue growth and ensure the achievement of the annual sales budget;
Recruit and build the regional sales team in line with business needs;
Define and implement pricing, discount, and promotional strategies;
Set sales targets for each Regional Sales Manager and monitor performance against agreed objectives;
Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities;
Coach, develop, and support the sales team to improve performance and achieve business objectives;
Prepare weekly sales and performance reports and report directly to the General Manager.
